Biography For Rev. C. Mike Redd

Reverend C. Mike Redd has been the pastor of
Covenant United Methodist Church for two and a half years. Before he
came to Covenant, Mike was the pastor of Cross Plains United
Methodist Church near Abilene. He has also pastored several other
churches in East and West Texas over 30 years of ministry as an
Elder in the United Methodist Church.
When in his early 20’s Mike began his ministry
as a youth director in the Metroplex. He also went beyond the local
church for 13 years and worked as a counselor. During that time he
worked at Tarrant County Mental Health Mental Retardation Center,
and later at Family Service Inc as supervisor of counseling.
Mike carries Master’s degrees in both Theology
from Perkins School of Theology at SMU, and in counseling from Texas
A&M University at Commerce.
Mike is very happily married to Dr. Sandy Redd,
a former college professor, who currently works at the
Mental Health Mental Retardation of
Tarrant County.
