I received my B. A. in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University, with a minor in music. Switched from Music Education to Psychology in my Junior year of college.

 

I took my first official piano lesson when I was a freshman in High School (private school) and won a competition at the end of the year, so I decided to keep playing!   Took voice and piano lessons through most of High School and College, and have sung and played in many churches (different denominations).

 

Have written music (not published) and hope to write more music in the future.

 

I became a Christian several days before graduating from college, making the decision to follow Christ while walking to my Economics Class.

 

Hobbies include hiking, reading, music and going to movies.  I also love classic rock music. 

The three loves of my life are my three grown children:  Heather, Donny and Charity.  Charity is very talented musically and is competing for the second year in the Miss Texas Pageant – her talent is vocal performance (opera arias).
